Bachelor’s program “Pedagogy Informatics” is a comprehensive course designed for beginner teachers specializing in the field of informatics and computer technology. This course aims to equip educators with the necessary skills to effectively teach information literacy, basic programming, and skills in working with information and computing systems. Students will also gain in-depth knowledge of commonly used software applications and familiarize themselves with the main resources used in education. Through this program, future teachers will gain knowledge and experience that will allow them to provide high-quality education in the field of informatics and computer technology. The course complies with modern educational standards, which emphasize the importance of integrating informatics and computer technology into the school curriculum. A modern computer science teacher has professional competencies that allow for exciting and effective learning in various educational institutions. Whether in a public school or an information technology institution, these teachers have the skills to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree, aspiring teachers will be prepared to develop information literacy, teach the basics of programming, improve skills in working with information and computing systems, introduce commonly used software, and help students use the vast resources available on the Internet. This course gives educators the opportunity to become experienced and confident in delivering high quality education in the field of informatics and computer technology.
- Develops proficiency in both national and foreign languages and applies scientific and methodological materials effectively in professional activities, utilizing learning strategies that encompass various levels of cognition from remembering to creating.
- Assesses the basic requirements and problems of forming human capital in modern pedagogical science and applies innovative technologies and principles for managing the education system through effectively and ethically educating and empowering learners to achieve their full potential.
- Masters the modern directions of development of computer graphics, principles of 3D modelling and uses in the design of multimedia and virtual educational resources through creating interactive 3D models of educational content, designing visually appealing graphics and animations, and developing virtual reality simulations for educational purposes.
- Organizes the educational process in the conditions of the updated content of secondary education, taking into account features of development processes, purposeful development of pupils and students through analysing and understanding the new content and requirements of secondary education, and using this knowledge to design effective lesson plans and educational programs.
- Develops the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and interpret complex data sets, and to design and implement machine learning algorithms and models that can effectively identify patterns, trends, and insights in large and diverse data sets through participating in research projects, developing custom software solutions, or providing data analysis.
- Uses mathematical methods and algorithms to solve practical problems, analyzes the conditions that affect the development of software, computer technology and synthesizes modern optimal information technologies through optimizing resource allocation, designing efficient algorithms, or developing predictive models.
- Knows the theoretical and methodological foundations of physics, electronics, robotics, hardware programming and use the basics of STEM education in professional activities through designing and building electronic circuits, programming robots or intelligent systems and collaborating with other professionals, such as engineers, scientists, and technicians, to design and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Develops as a person with ideological and moral principles, forms a healthy lifestyle through taking a proactive approach to identifying socially significant issues, using new technologies or creative problem-solving techniques to identify and address complex social problems and engaging in regular physical activity, and managing stress and mental health.
