Available Services for Students
Advisory Services
You can meet with an inclusion specialist for advice and talk about any concerns or needs you have, along with strategies to succeed.
Personal Support Plans
We can create a personalized support plan just for you, outlining the specific accommodations you may need.
Academic Adjustments
We can offer changes to class structures, exams format, deadlines, or other learning conditions to better fit your learning needs.
Assistive Technology
We can provide access to special devices and software like screen readers or speech-to-text programs to help you with your studies.
Accessible Materials
We can help making sure your textbooks and other learning materials are available in formats like Braille or digital text that work best for you.
Referral: – Students requiring accommodations should refer to the Educational-Methodical Center or Inclusion Specialists directly by reaching out via e-mail or office visit. Documentation: – If possible, provide supporting documentation that outlines the nature of the special condition and the recommended accommodations. Consultation: – Schedule a meeting with an inclusion specialist to discuss your needs and develop a personalized support plan. Implementation: – Once approved, accommodations will be communicated to relevant faculty and staff to ensure they are implemented effectively. |
