ABOUT THE FACULTY

Today SDU Business School is one of the leading business schools in our country with a prestigious international recognition both in research and education. We offer programs in all levels including foundation,undergraduate, MA and PhD programs.We continuously keep our programs updated with industry requirements. Students in our programs have a great opportunity to get ACCA, CIMA and CIM certificates. Given a light to the fact that all programs are taught in English, through academic mobility program students are able to have international educational experience in our partner world leading universities. Research lab

SDU Business School is proud to have a FinLab euqipped with EIKON terminals. On 31st of April in 2019, the business school had an opening ceremony of SDU FinLab with AIFC BCPD representatives. The FinLAB has 25 terminals available for student use. EIKON is one of the leading global providers of 24-hour financial news and information, including real-time stock quotes. Our students use terminals to get historical financial information, company statistics, and market averages.

Financial technology (Fintech) is a new joint Master’s Degree program of SDU Busiess School and IT Department, which is a highly demanded field of study for learners. FinTech is used to identify new and advanced technology that tries to enhance and automate the delivery and use of financial services. At its core, fintech is practiced to help companies, business owners and consumers better manage their financial operations, processes, and lives by utilizing specialized software and algorithms that are used on computers and, increasingly, smart devices. The program ensures the actual financial studies in depth integrated with technological literacy such as Python, Machine Learning and AI in Finance, Big Data, Blockchain, Data mining, accompanied by practical expertise in each area.

The aim of the programme is to prepare marketing professionals to address the emerging business opportunities and challenges of local and global markets. Students will gain contemporary marketing knowledge and skills which will help to build credibility in their professional marketing role. The program involves both traditional marketing courses (marketing fundamentals, up-to-date marketing cases, consumer behavior, marketing research, personal selling and saled management, service marketing, marketing communications, relatively a new course – neuromarketing) and digital marketing courses (digital marketing, SMM, digital advertising strategy, webanalytics, AI and machine learning in marketing) and other disciplines to strengthen the future marketers’ competitive advantage in a job market.
