The global pandemic of coronavirus has changed the way we work, communicate and interact with each other. Leaders and politicians around the world have begun to realize the importance of public health and its impact on all aspects of our society, including business, economy, education, tourism, etc.

It becomes critical for all companies and businesses, from now on, to have relevant expertise and knowledge in a field of public health, and to employ specialists with health and hygiene expertise who can devise innovative and preventative strategies to protect the health of employees and customers.

To address this critical need, we have launched the SDU Center for Health, Policy and Management, based at Business School of Suleyman Demirel University, with the goal of increasing the knowledge and providing expertise for decision-makers, managers and scholars of the Kazakhstani health sector. The center’s aim will be implemented through teaching, research and consulting services designed for strengthening and promoting innovation and technology in public health and healthcare delivery of Kazakhstan.
