This program aims to prepare students to use analytical tools for data analysis, understand the data structures and work Machine learning models. They will also apply different artificial intelligent algorithms in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Big Data, etc. The basis for instruction is an online interactive platform which will facilitate the learning of students in different locations and working hours. A face-to-face meeting with instructors will occur during 2 week final exam period. Main competencies are:
- continuous learning by searching for correct solutions on labs and project assignments and providing presentations and reports
- critical thinking by designing useful and customized intelligent solutions by implementation of projects
- planning research by mutually agreeing and reviewing weekly targets with master project supervisor and providing individual reports
- teamwork by participation in team projects and providing the result on team presentations

- acquire advanced knowledge related to the fundamental principles of algorithm design as well as mathematical and statistical models to appropriately formulate and use data analyses
- Demonstrate expertise in machine learning methods and strategies for advanced data mining, expertise in database systems, and expertise in computational statistics
- Demonstrate skills in the evaluation and synthesis of information from a range of sources and the ability to apply these skills to understand the international peer-reviewed scientific literature and primary research in data science and disciplines relevant to data science
- show practical experience in real industrial tasks by participating in an industrial internship and producing a report post-visit
- Transform findings from data resources into actionable business strategies
