On January 29, SDU University hosted Hult Prize Day, bringing together students passionate about social entrepreneurship. This event marked the first step in the global Hult Prize competition, which annually attracts young innovators from around the world to develop startups aimed at solving pressing social issues.
During the program, participants learned about the Hult Prize concept, discovered the opportunities offered by the competition, and listened to inspiring speeches from experts and past winners. Workshops on idea generation and startup creation were also organized, followed by a networking session where students discussed participation prospects. The event concluded with the official announcement of registration for Hult Prize 2025.
Selection Stages
On February 20, SDU held the first selection stage of the competition. Participants had to pass two tests:
An English proficiency test required for effective competition participation.
A business problem-solving test assessing students’ analytical and entrepreneurial skills.
