The seminar "The Teacher's Secret Weapon," organized by SDU Extension School, provided teachers with a fresh impetus for professional growth
On December 7, 2024, SDU Extension School conducted a 3-hour seminar-training titled “The Teacher’s Secret Weapon” for school teachers from Shymkent city and Almaty region. The primary goal of the seminar was to introduce educators to modern approaches and opportunities for enhancing the teaching process using artificial intelligence tools.
The seminar was led by Gulzhayna Nurmanova, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities of SDU University. Participants gained skills in visualizing educational materials, creating instructional aids using AI, developing gamification elements, providing effective feedback on student work, and creating electronic portfolios and websites.
At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates on behalf of the university’s rector.
