The seminar "The Teacher's Secret Weapon," organized by SDU Extension School, provided teachers with new knowledge and skills
On November 23, 2024, SDU Extension School organized a 3-hour seminar-workshop titled “The Teacher’s Secret Weapon” for 32 educators from the Karasai district, the city of Almaty, and Taldykorgan. The main goal of the seminar was to introduce teachers to new methods and opportunities for enhancing the educational process through the use of artificial intelligence tools.
The seminar was conducted by Gulzhaina Nurmanova, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy and humanities at SDU University. During the session, participants learned how to use artificial intelligence for visualizing educational materials, creating visual aids, developing gamification elements, providing feedback on students’ work, and creating electronic portfolios and websites.
At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates on behalf of the university’s rector.
