An Open Lecture Week Organized by the "Humanities" Department Took Place
From September 23 to 30, an open lecture week was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities. The event, organized by the “Humanities” Department, featured lectures by internationally recognized professors and instructors who shared their expertise.
The speakers conducted open lectures on topics such as “The Experience of Preparing School Psychologists at Malaya University,” “Continuity Between Primary and Preschool Education,” and “International Experience in Inclusive Education.” During these sessions, students engaged in discussions with the lecturers. The future specialists who attended the lectures became acquainted with international practices for improving preschool education quality in Malaysia, Greece, Italy, and Hong Kong. They also explored innovative educational methods, particularly in inclusive education.
The lectures were delivered by distinguished international experts, including Professor Abdul Halim bin Masnan from Sultan Idris University (Malaysia), Dr. Stellakis Nektarios, a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences specializing in preschool education (Greece), Professor Vincenzo Salerno from IUSVE University (Italy), and other high-level professionals.
In addition, foreign lecturers, together with teachers from SDU University, held a five-day seminar in Almaty as part of the project “Global Strategies in Preschool Education and Training.” Approximately 440 educators participated in the event, where professionals had a unique opportunity to enhance their skills to improve the effectiveness of the educational process.
