SDU University hosted the Republican Olympiad in the educational program "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages"
On May 23-24, 2024 in SDU the national Olympiad in French language has taken place. The participating students demonstrated excellent knowledge of the French language and culture, theoretical and practical training in the subject in an innovative teaching style.
In the final round of the Republican Olympiad on French language 17 people from 7 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part. In particular, the students of SDU University, Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov and Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University participated.
The Olympiad, consisting of three stages, was held for two days in offline format. The prizewinners who showed the best results according to the results of the Olympiad were: 1st place – Spandiyar Ganiuly (Abylai Khan KazNTU) 2nd place – Nurbaba Shugyla Bauyrzhanovna (SDU University) 2nd place – Kozhanov Emil Merkentaevich (Abylai Khan KazNTU) 3rd place-Imaganbetova Mereil Muratbekovna (SDU University) 3rd place-Gutkovskaya Anna Yurievna (Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov) 3rd place-Seytzhan Zhanelya Kynatkyzy (Abylai Khan KazNTU).
