Appointment of New Vice-Rector for Research
Maksat Kalybek was appointed as the Vice-rector for Research of the Suleyman Demirel University.
Maksat Kalybek holds a bachelor’s degree from L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southampton University in the UK, as well as PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Leicester in the UK.
Mr. Maksat has professional experience in the oil, gas and commercial construction sectors in Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom and specializes in various aspects of construction design and management. Up to date, Mr Maksat has published three scientific articles in prestigious world-class journals and authored two research reports commissioned by industry.
