Profile
Aigerim Omarova joined the Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in Kazakhstan in 2021 as an assistant-instructor of foreign languages department (TFL): she has been teaching such courses as Innovative Trends in Education, Methods of Foreign Language Teaching, and Major foreign Language (B2): English in Intercultural Communication Contexts. Moreover, she is a practicum supervisor of fourth-year BA students. In general, she had been teaching General English for teenagers for 4 years at the educational centers in Almaty. Except her primary responsibilities, she is always involved in international events to enhance relationships between SDU and other universities. Aigerim’s research interests include flipped learning, creative writing, gamification, intercultural communication, and students’ motivation. In her spare time, Aigerim enjoys doing some sport, baking, and managing social networks.
