Profile
Galym Zhussipbek a) joined SDU in May 2009, b) he has a PhD and MA in International Relations (Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, Department of International Relations), PhD dissertation analyzed Eurasian security and European Union's Security and Defense Policy initiatives through the prism of Neo-Gramscianism; c) Galym was a research fellow at Rethink Institute (2013-2016), Washington, DC (USA) and a consultant to the human rights organization Equal Rights Trust, London (2016-2017). In recent years Galym has been engaged in research projects related to building inclusive institutions, inclusive identity building, current trends in Muslim thought and development of human rights in post-Soviet area, d) Galym enjoys gardening
