Mariya Li gained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the Kazakh Leading Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Architectural Design major. After receiving the Bolashak Scholarship in 2013, she studied Academic English at the University of Toronto in Canada. In 2016, Mariya worked at the Fabrication Laboratory (MIT Global network) as a manager and course facilitator. In 2017, she joined the 4you2 Non-Profit Organization as an ESL instructor in San Paolo, Brazil. In 2018, Mariya was awarded with the Master of Architecture degree, in Design for Manufacture by the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Before joining the Suleiman Demirel University, she worked as a manager of the Technopark, at the Private Entity Nazarbayev University Research and Innovation Systems and a teaching assistant of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department of the Nazarbayev University.
