Samat Maxutov joined the Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in 2018 as a coordinator of Physics and Informatics Educational Programme and Physics lecturer. From 2012 to 2013, Samat was physics expert reviewer at National Testing Center. He has been working as a teamleader of Kazakhstan physics team among high school students and represents Kazakhstan at International Physics Olympiads every year since 2018.
