Description
The Journalism Program at SDU University invites applications from qualified and motivated scholars to join our academic team. We are seeking a full-time faculty member with a PhD degree in one of the following specialization areas:
• Journalism and New Media
• International Journalism
• Media Studies
• Documentary Journalism
• Media Literacy and Digital Communication
• AI Journalism
Requirements
- PhD degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field
- Proven experience in academic research and university-level teaching
- Willingness to actively contribute to curriculum development and academic leadership
- Commitment to contributing to the international academic community through research publications
- Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher (according to the CEFR scale)
Working conditions
- Official employment under the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Working hours: 5/2, 08:30-17:30, lunchtime 12:30-13:30
