SDU University in collaboration with Galym Project Hosted Second Annual Academic Publishing Bootcamp to Empower PhD Students in Scholarly Writing
SDU University Science Department in collaboration with the Galym Project, successfully hosted the second annual Academic Publishing Bootcamp from June 23 to June 29, a week-long intensive program aimed at enhancing scholarly writing skills and supporting PhD students in developing journal-ready research papers.
This comprehensive seven-day bootcamp brought together doctoral students from SDU University, Satbayev University, Turan University, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Dublin City University, and many others. The program was carefully designed to address the key components of academic publishing, with a focus on practical guidance and hands-on writing experience.
Participants engaged in a dynamic series of seminars, interactive workshops, peer-review sessions, and individual consultations – all tailored to help them progress with their manuscripts and understand the academic publishing process more deeply.
Now in its second year, SDU Academic Publishing Bootcamp continues to grow as a unique platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, and research collaboration. The initiative reflects SDU University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and the cultivation of a strong research culture among early-career scholars.
