An Informational Session on “Mandatory Grant Work-Off” Was Held
On May 13, an informational session was held at our university for 4th-year undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students. The invited speaker — Mr. Abylay Tynybekov, a representative of “Financial Center” JSC — shared important information with students regarding their employment obligations after receiving education through a state grant.
During the session, legislative changes based on the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education” were thoroughly explained. The speaker also covered which sectors and organizations graduates are required to work in after completing their studies, how the work-off period is calculated, and the possibilities for independent employment. In addition, the speaker addressed the conditions for exemption from mandatory grant obligations and answered many individual questions from the students.
