Financial Security Seminar Held at SDU
On April 10, a financial security seminar was held at SDU University, organized by the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place offline in the SDU Life Blue Hall and attracted many interested students.
During the seminar, participants learned:
🔹 Who “drops” are and how not to become a victim;
🔹 How to identify financial pyramids and avoid fraudulent schemes;
🔹 What tools and knowledge can help protect your personal finances.
The program included an interactive lecture in Q&A format, online games with prizes, a flash mob, and gifts for all participants. The atmosphere was lively and engaging — students actively participated, asked questions, and shared their own experiences.
Special attention was given to the National Financial Security Olympiad. Students had the opportunity to learn about the participation rules and ask questions. Winners of the Olympiad will be eligible to take part in the international stage in Krasnoyarsk and may also qualify for employment at the Financial Monitoring Agency.
The seminar served as an important step in improving youth financial literacy and reminded everyone of the importance of responsible financial behavior in today’s world.
