At SDU University, an alumni forum was held to mark the 20th anniversary of the "Kazakh Language and Literature" educational program
This forum brought together graduates who had studied within this program and achieved success in various fields.
The main goal of the forum was to celebrate the 20-year history of the “Kazakh Language and Literature” educational program, discuss its achievements, strengthen connections among alumni, and share professional experiences. Additionally, the forum aimed to motivate current students, spark their interest in the specialty, and help define future career paths.
A plenary session was held as part of the forum, featuring distinguished alumni from different years. Among them were professional coach and author of several books Azamat Skakov, Chief Expert of the Department of Educational Work and Additional Education at the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan Samat Zhumabekov, writer and translator Shrazaddin Kainiyazov, private school director Bekseit Kadyrbai, and Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities at SDU University Zhainagul Duisebekova. The speakers shared their professional experiences and emphasized the importance of the educational program.
After the lunch break, sectional meetings took place. The topics covered modern methods of teaching Kazakh language and literature, the use of Kazakh in new media, as well as emotional intelligence and public speaking skills. During these sessions, participants exchanged experiences and discussed the latest research and trends in their fields.
At the conclusion of the forum, closing remarks were delivered, and gratitude was expressed to the participants. As a result of the event, new professional connections were established between alumni and current students, and concrete plans for the future were outlined. This forum remains a significant milestone in the 20-year journey of SDU University’s “Kazakh Language and Literature” educational program.
