Kazakhstan's team showed the best result at the International Olympiad in Physics IPHO-2024
Under the guidance of teachers of SDU University future physics students took part in the International Olympiad in Iran in the city of Isfahan, where they won four silvers and one bronze. The team of Kazakhstan consisted of high school students selected by the Republic.
In particular, Amir Pishenbaev, 11th grade student of the boarding lyceum ‘Bilim-Innovation’ for talented boys in Astana (silver), Artur Kim, 11th grade student of the Aktobe Regional Specialised Boarding Lyceum ‘Bilim-Innovation’ for talented teenagers (silver), 12th grade student of the Miras International School in Almaty Doszhan Beisenbi (silver), 11th grade student of the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty Margulan Nursagatov (silver) and Ilyas Kazymbek (bronze), a 9th grade student of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School of Astana, showed 100 per cent results.
It is worth noting that the team was prepared for the prestigious Olympiad of international level by Associate Professor of SDU University, Doctor PhD Samat Maksutov and the teacher of physics at SDU University Nazarali Aitzhanov. Our winners, who showed the best results in the competitions, in which about 50 countries took part, demonstrated that the smartest people win.
