SDU Extension School held a workshop training for teachers
February 24, SDU Extension School held a 6-hour seminar-training “5 untold secrets of effective teaching” for 20 English language teachers from 16 schools of Karasai district, Almaty region. The seminar discussed the mistakes found in the traditional teaching of the English language and new methods of teaching. During the training, teachers were able to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge at a practical level through special tasks.
The seminar was conducted by Dmitry Cherkassov, senior lecturer of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities of SDU University, master of the Pennsylvania State University in the USA, holder of IELTS 8.0 and CELTA (Pass B) certificates.
The participants were presented with a certificate on behalf of the rector.
