Within the Samsung Recycling School competition, SDU was among the three leaders
SDU University participated in the Samsung Recycling School competition. The aim of this project was to inspire young people to collect and recycle electronic waste. As a result of the competition SDU took the 3rd place for collecting 5 kilograms of electronic waste, after which the university was awarded a “Smart M8 Monitor 32”. The award ceremony took place at the event “Come to the Green side!”, where an eco-sculpture of Tazy and Tobet dog breeds, collected from electronic waste, was presented.
It is worth noting that such universities as KazNU and AlmaU took part in the project. In total, students have accumulated over 46 kilograms of electronic waste.
