SDU and Warsaw University signed a cooperation agreement
From May 22 to May 29, representatives of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at SDU: Dean of the Faculty Saudbaev M., Head of the Department of Law Kopbaeva A., Head of the Department of Social Sciences Nuriddenova A. and PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Estemirov M. visited Germany, Poland and Estonia.
The main purpose of the visit is to negotiate with several European universities. The possibilities of academic cooperation with the German Humboldt and Wismar, the Polish Adam Mickiewicz and Warsaw, the Estonian University of Tartu and the German Deutsche Welle Academy were discussed. Namely, the negotiations were held within the framework of the academic exchange of students and faculty, the development of joint educational programs, joint research, summer schools and foreign supervision of doctoral students, etc.
As a result of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the SDU and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. At the same time, an agreement was signed with the University of Wismar to open a double degree program at the master’s level and organize summer schools for teachers and undergraduate students. Also, discussed future work with the Universities of Tartu and Adam Mickiewicz.
