Данная программа направлена на подготовку будущих финансистов, обладающих всеми необходимыми знаниями и умениями для успешного старта их карьеры в топовых финансовых компаниях Казахстана, в том числе и в многонациональных корпорациях. Программа “Финансы” получила признание программами ACCA и CIMA.
• Умение обсуждать и анализировать финансы в их широком контексте и их взаимосвязи с другой экономической деятельностью, включая современные структуры проводимых операций и функций рынков и финансовых институтов;
• Выполнение заданий по учету и аудиту; включая разработку системы учета, выбор учетной политики, соответствие МСФО (IFRS);
• Понимание и интерпретирование финансовых данных для “Due diligence” на основе финансовой отчетности компаний, данных рынка ценных бумаг и т.д.; а также способность интегрировать эти интерпретации при прогнозировании последующих событий и условий, чтобы впоследствии подготовить такие отчеты, как “Due Diligence”, исследование фондового рынка, фондовых площадок и др.
• Умение выступать в качестве трейдера и/или инвестора, что включает в себя понимание профессиональных торговых площадок и площадок провайдеров информации для принятия грамотных инвестиционных решений;
• Навыки сбора внушительных инвестиционных портфелей с применением многочисленных теорий и инвестиционных подходов с последовательной перебалансировкой и реоптимизацией этих портфелей.

Berik Sabdenaliyev joined the SDU University in 2010 as a teacher assistant. In 2011, after completion of his Master degree he started to work as a senior Lecturer. From 2015 to 2016 Berik was a vice-dean of academic affairs at Faculty of Economics and 2016 to 2018 he was program coordinator of Accounting and Finance at undergraduate level in the same department. Since 2018 he was appointed to his current position of Dean of Business School. His research interest is human resources management and organizational behavior. Berik enjoys sport and reading.

Darkhan Zamanbekov joined SDU University in Kazakhstan in 2014 as an assistant professor to devote my attention to teaching Financial modelling, SAP accounting to their staff and to expand my knowledge base so that I could tutor other aspects of corporate finance and banking in general. He attended a number of courses including those on Banking Basics, Corporate Finance and Valuation, Interest Rates and Derivative Products. To demonstrate the widening of his expertise, he took responsibility for teaching the majority of the theoretical subjects covered in the Corporate Finance weeks of the Graduate Training Programme that the bank runs for all newly recruited graduates and MBAs. His topics included each of the many different ways to value a company.

Ugur Choban joined SDU University in 2005. Since then, he has been engaged in various academic and pedagogic activities such as; revision, control and development of course syllabuses, design of curriculum plans for faculty programs, teacher training, and teaching-learning coordination. The classes he delivered mainly include; Accounting, Financial Management (ACCA). He has been counselling students in academic, social and psychological issues. He completed his master degree in SDU in 2012 and later won his doctoral degree (PhD) in 2021 from National University of Malaysia (UKM). Recently, he has been appointed as the research coordinator of SDU Business School. He has supervised numerous dissertations and his research interests include; entrepreneurship, network theory, small firm strategy and financing. He likes travelling and nature.

Dr Yesseleva-Pionka held teaching and senior academic management positions in Australia and Central Asia (Kazakhstan). She specialised in general investments and personal and corporate superannuation investments while working for Westpac Banking Corporation and
BT Financial Group in Australia. She was elected to join The Housing Connection, a not-for-profit organisation in Sydney, Australia, as Treasurer and Board Member in November 2019. In 2020 and 2021, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Commonwealth Bank, recognising her contribution to the Australian community.
Dr Yesseleva-Pionka is the Associate Editor of the Journal of the International Council for Small Business (JICSB). She is a Master Teacher for the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Global Certificate in Entrepreneurial Finance. She was appointed as ICSB Global Certificates Manager in January 2021. In July 2021, Dr Yesseleva-Pionka was awarded the International Council for Small Business Presidential Award. The ICSB Presidential Award winners are selected from the pool of exceptional ICSB members who integrate both service and empathy into their roles as innovative leaders.
She co-authored a textbook titled Financial Planning and Personal Finance – 1st Edition in Australia and New Zealand, published in September 2022 by the Cengage Publishing House.
She won teaching awards at the University of Sydney Business School, Top Education Institute, and SDU University and was recognised as TOP 20 at the UTS Business School. She is a Grant Holder/Principal Researcher for the National Bank/Central Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the project titled " Combating financial fraud, in particular financial pyramids, Internet and telephone fraud".

Marek Pionka is a dynamic Senior Lecturer currently serving at Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, since October 2023. Chingis joined the SDU University in 2024 as a lecturer of macroeconomics, statistics, and mathematics of economics. He worked as an investment manager in insurance companies, as a data analyst in various enterprises, as a business intelligence developer in commercial banks, as a team lead of business intelligence developers in KPMG.
In his MSc diploma, he made contributions to enhancing macroeconomic models with time-varying parameters, especially solving a problem of near zero interest rates by introducing the sliding windows approach in these models. He wants to make further developments in building advanced economic models.

Aigerim Tursynbekova joined SDU University in 2022 as a lecturer. Starting from September 2023 alongside her role as a lecturer, Aigerim became a coordinator of EMBA and MBA in Healthcare programs. Her research interests are Statistical Methods in Finance and Trading strategies. She enjoys skiing and walks in the fresh air.

Yerzhan Syzdykov joined the SDU University in the Kazakhstan in 2015 as a lecturer for the bachelor level students: he had worked as a junior lecturer until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Yerzhan was senior lecturer of the Business school in Management field. Since 2019, he has been working as a coordinator of management and economics programs. He is currently completing his PhD studies in University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Malaysia.
