The program lasts one academic year and is delivered in English. It focuses on developing academic writing, confident English proficiency, and independent learning skills.
Throughout the year, students improve their English level from A0 to the level required for successful IELTS completion, studying a total of 400 academic hours.
If a student scores 6.5 or higher, the exam fee is covered by the university.
The program allows students to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of SDU, become familiar with the university culture, and gain confidence before starting their undergraduate studies.
Note:
Participation in the Foundation Program does not provide any admission advantages when applying to SDU undergraduate programs.
Applicants must pass the UNT (for citizens of Kazakhstan) or the SPT — SDU international entrance exam (for international applicants).”
