The aim of the “STEM Leadership” minor program is to equip future educators with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become effective STEM leaders in school settings. The program focuses on developing teachers who can integrate interdisciplinary STEM approaches into their teaching, foster collaboration among STEM educators, and lead innovative educational initiatives. It prepares students to play a pivotal role in shaping STEM education by promoting the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and by building connections between schools, the industry, and the wider community
By the end of the program, students will be well-prepared to take on leadership and coaching roles in STEM education within their schools. They will have the skills to promote collaboration and effective communication among STEM educators and lead the development of cross-disciplinary projects. Graduates will also be able to support innovative teaching by providing essential resources. In addition, they will build professional networks and actively participate in communities of practice with fellow educators. Importantly, they will help bridge the gap between STEM teachers, schools, and industry partners, strengthening cooperation between education and the production sector
