Today, the School of Social Sciences, Business and Law at SDU University is one of the leading business schools in the country, internationally recognized for its achievements in education and research. We offer bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degree programs. The content of these programs is regularly updated. Laboratories

A significant event took place at SDU University’s Faculty of Social Sciences, Business, and Law under the “Applied Psychology” educational program — the official opening of the Applied Psychology Laboratory.

The laboratory is equipped with modern tools tailored for various modalities of integrative (polymodal) therapy. This includes resources for art therapy, existential therapy, body-oriented therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Additionally, the laboratory offers excellent opportunities for developing practical skills in disciplines such as neuropsychology, psychodiagnostics, developmental psychology, data analysis and interpretation, and cultural psychology.

However, the greatest value of the laboratory lies not just in its equipment, but in the people who bring it to life. The grand opening was attended and supported by experienced professors, lecturers, and practitioners from both the academic and practical fields of psychology.

This laboratory is a new space for the professional growth of future psychologists, serving as an essential platform that bridges the gap between theory and practice.

The Legal Clinic is a practical training program for the university’s law students. By resolving and analyzing real legal issues, students bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing legal counseling and assistance to those in need of constitutional and legal support.Objective: To develop students’ professional skills; to demonstrate legal solutions for social issues to the community; and to prepare future specialists for real-world professional challenges.

The Mock Courtroom is an educational platform designed to develop students’ legal and advocacy skills. This space, which replicates a real courtroom setting, teaches students the structure and procedures of a court, along with judicial ethics, through hands-on experience. In the courtroom, students learn how to draft legal documents, gather evidence, conduct questioning, and manage court proceedings.

The SDU Entrepreneurship Office is a support platform designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Through high-quality training, mentorship, consulting, and networking, the office helps transform ideas into real-world projects and startups. Furthermore, the Entrepreneurship Office (OFE) builds an ecosystem aimed at shaping entrepreneurial awareness. It provides opportunities to pitch projects to investors, scale them into larger businesses, or sell them, thereby contributing to the economic development of Kazakhstan.

Media Lab is a dedicated creative space designed for mastering modern media technologies. The laboratory opens up opportunities for students to create and develop multimedia projects involving video, audio, graphics, and animation. Furthermore, the multimedia laboratory enables students to develop their creative thinking, teamwork, and project management skills, effectively preparing them for their future professional careers.
