SDU University and the University of Sussex Strengthen Collaboration
SDU University welcomed Professor Simon Thompson, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Sussex, and Dr Keith Pereira, Head of the Department of Social Work, Education and Childhood and Youth Studies at the University of Sussex.
As part of their visit, the professors conducted a professional development workshop, “Does Differentiation Mean Different?”, for faculty and students of the School of Education and Humanities at SDU University. The workshop focused on inclusive and adaptive teaching approaches and practical strategies for supporting diverse learners.
The visit also included meetings with SDU University leadership and representatives of the School of Education and Humanities to discuss opportunities for further academic cooperation.
Following the discussions, SDU University and the University of Sussex agreed to formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and begin developing joint projects.
