SDU MOOT COURT UNION invites law students to participate in the Republican Tournament – SDU MOOT COURT CUP 2021, which will be held on March 27. (In 2019 “Moot Court” was held in the form of “Legathon”).

In the SDU MOOT COURT CUP 2021 teams are allowed to participate with 2-3 counsels. Undergraduate and graduate students of all courses, who successfully completed the tasks of the correspondence (qualifying) round and passed the main stage of the tournament are allowed to participate.

Working languages are Kazakh, Russian and English. The Republican Tournament will be held in one of the most interesting and useful formats – Moot Court.

Moot Court is one of the most famous competitions for law students all over the world. It is an imitation of a trial in which each side proves its superiority over the opponent.

Due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, this event will be held online.

Registration of participants is open until 23.59 (Nur-Sultan time), March 7, 2021.
