Leila Mirzoyeva joined SDU in Kazakhstan in 2009 as an instructor working for Translation Studies and Two Foreign Languages programmes (Russian Language, Russian language for Specific Purposes): she has been working as a Head of Translation Studies Department from 2010 to 2014. In 2010 Leila defended her Doctoral Thesis. Now, she works for SDU as a professor and delivers lectures in Applied Linguistics, Theory of Literature, Fundamentals of Editing (in English), and Russian Literature (in Russian). At present, Leila Mirzoyeva has 6 publications in Scopus database, h-index 1.
