Profile
Dmitriy Cherkassov joined SDU in 2019 right after completing MA in TESL at the Pennsylvania State University. He has been a lecturer at "Two Foreign Languages" (TFL) Program within the Faculty of Education & Humanities since then. Prior to that, Dmitriy worked as an English teacher at the high school level for 4,5 years. For a period of one academic year (2020-2021), he served as a Program Coordinator for TFL. Currently, Dmitriy continues working as a lecturer at the Faculty; as well as that, he serves as a Professional Development Coordinator of TFL Program. The latter includes providing and/or arranging workshops/trainings for the faculty instructors and partly assisting the Centre of Professional Development and Innovation (CPDI) at SDU with their developmental work. Apart from academic perspective, Dmitriy is also a socially involved individual who eagerly participates in the extracurricular activities of SDU and is active in social media.
