Shatlyk Amanov is a faculty member with the Department of Social Sciences at SDU University where he has been teaching courses in international relations since 2017. After graduating with honors from BA program in Public Policy, he has held several senior management positions in the private sector. Currently, he teaches courses in the fields of comparative politics, security studies, international organizations, and various modules on diplomacy to juniors and seniors. His research interests focus broadly on foreign policy, international organizations, regional integrations, and area studies. His recent publications include book chapter entitled “India's Rise in the Global South and INSTC: Insights from the ‘South−South Cooperation 3.0’ model” (in Hasan Khan, K. (Ed.). (2024). India’s Economic Corridor Initiatives: INSTC and Chabahar Port. Routledge) and a journal article: "EAEU’S External Convergence on Global Issues: Evidence from the UN General Assembly Voting, 2000-2020," Journal of Globalization Studies, Vol. 15, No. 1 (forthcoming in May 2024).
