Abay Nussipbekov works in Suleyman Demirel University since 2009. He has got his bachelor (2009) and master (2011) of computer science degree at SDU and then has got a PhD degree in the field of machine learning in 2014 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He did a research at Korean University of Advanced Sciences and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea with his external supervisor prof. Minsoo Hahn. His field of interests are machine learning, deep learning, web programming and software engineering. In 2016 Abay became one of 5 winners of IT internship in Silicon Valley scholarship founded by Yessenov Foundation. He worked in a AmplifyLive startup in San Francisco for half a year and since 2017 became a full-time machine learning and software engineer and working remotely from Kazakhstan. Abay currently teaches mainly Data Science related courses such as machine learning and deep learning for undergraduate and graduate students. He works on research theses with his master and PhD students.
