Didar Zhakanbayev started his teaching career in 2012 in Kentau Kazakh-Turkish lyceum for gifted boys (now Bilim Innovatsiya Litsei). In that position he was responsible for teaching English, prepare students for UNT, IELTS, English Subject Olympiads and Project Olympiads, engage with students in extracurricular activities. From 2015 to 2017, Didar studied in Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). During his studies, he worked as an intern in Penn State World Campus Student Affairs Unit for one semester. He joined SDU in September 2018 as a chief expert in Teaching and Methodical Center. In November 2018 he was assigned as a Director of Student Service Center at SDU. In his spare time, Didar enjoys playing football and having day out with his family.
