Zhaiykbay Kumis joined the Suleyman Demirel University(SDU) in Kazakhstan in 2017 as a "Jas Maman" in foreign language education department: she has been working as an assistant-instructor. Since 2019, Kumis has been working BA thesis supervisor and advisor of TFL students. Her research interests lie in foreign language education, ESP, CLIL, and language policy. Currently she is doing her PhD in Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. In her spare time, Kumis enjoys playing volleyball, tennis and travelling.
