Hamitova Kumissay studied at the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University from 1992 to 1997, specialty - Library Studies and Bibliography. In 1999 she entered the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, and graduated as a specialist of Kazakh Language and Literature in 2000. From 2000 to 2005, Kumissay worked as a teacher in comprehensive school in East Kazakhstan. Untill she started working at SDU she had gained experience in the filed of library affairs in NIS (Nasarbayev Intellectual Schools) and East Kazakhstan National University. In 2013 SDU welcomed her as a staff of the scientific library. Now, she is a member of big friendly team at above mentioned department.
