Zhanerke Bolatbekova joined SDU University in the summer of 2024, initially serving as an Assistant Trainer at the SDU Extension School. She currently holds the position of Manager of the Department for Professional Development and Skills Improvement at the SDU Extension Center, overseeing the coordination of training courses, the management of educational projects, and initiatives aimed at enhancing educators’ professional competencies. Following the completion of her PhD programme in 2023, she commenced her academic career at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), where she gained valuable experience in higher education and research before continuing her professional activities at SDU. Her academic interests focus on education, professional development, lifelong learning, and capacity building. She aspires to successfully defend her PhD degree and contribute to the advancement of educational innovation. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, travelling, and continuous self-development.
