The League of Academic Integrity is an association of higher and postgraduate education institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mission of the League:
To promote and implement the ten fundamental principles of academic integrity in order to enhance and improve the quality of education in the country.

The Ten Principles of the League:

1. Academic integrity is the core value of every member of the League, reflected in its educational process and research activities.

2. Each member of the League ensures compliance with clear, fair, and consistent standards of academic integrity, citation rules, and codes of conduct.

3. Each member of the League is responsible for mandatory plagiarism checks of all written works submitted for academic and/or research purposes, regardless of their type, content, or volume.

4. Each member of the League enforces accountability among students for violations of academic integrity principles and standards.

5. Each member of the League establishes high requirements for students within its own fair and transparent system of assessing learning outcomes.

6. Each member of the League allows only those who truly excel to successfully complete their studies.

7. Each member of the League bears responsibility for the quality of training of its graduates, which is confirmed by their diplomas.

8. Each member of the League ensures that teachers uphold the highest level of responsibility, embodying the principles of academic integrity, mutual respect, and fairness.

9. Each member of the League recognizes that promoting and protecting academic integrity is a shared effort of all students and staff within an educational institution.

10. Each member of the League commits to fulfilling its obligations honestly, including the core principles of the League’s activities. A member understands that failure to comply with the Charter, League regulations, or the principles and standards of academic integrity may result in expulsion from the League.
