SDU University is looking for professional and growth-oriented specialists to join its team.
All open positions are published on the university’s official website and partner job platforms.
After submitting your application, if your CV meets the requirements, you will be invited for an interview.
The hiring decision is made in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the employer’s right to select candidates.
The SDU HR Department operates Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30.
Lunch break: 13:00–14:00.
The department is closed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
To conclude an employment contract and prepare a personal file, the following documents are required:
- Copy of ID card / passport
- Copy of diploma with transcript (for foreign diplomas — notarized translation and nostrification document)
- Two photos (3×4 cm)
- Criminal record clearance certificate
- Medical record book (in accordance with Order No. 196/2020 of the Ministry of Health of the RK)
- Employment record book (for candidates with prior work experience)
- Military ID or registration certificate (for persons liable for military service)
- IBAN account number in Halyk Bank
- Certificates confirming no registration with psychiatric or narcological dispensaries
- IELTS, CELTA, TOEFL certificates (if available)
The PMS portal is a unified digital platform for SDU staff and faculty members.
Each registered employee receives a personal ID code, which allows them to:
- view and update individual work or study plans;
- register courses and learning materials;
- access internal university policies and regulations;
- enter current and final grades;
- submit requests to technical support.

BPM is SDU University’s internal management and electronic document workflow system.
Through BPM, employees can:
- submit official letters, requests, and orders electronically;
- conduct approval and authorization processes online;
- monitor task execution;
- organize workflows efficiently and transparently.
The main purpose of the system is to reduce paperwork, save employees’ time, and increase process efficiency.

To apply for a parking permit, please bring:
- the original vehicle registration certificate;
- a copy of your SDU ID Card;
- your mobile phone number.
Once the application is processed, the permit can be collected from the Occupational Health and Safety Department (C104).
The PMS portal contains all rules and regulations related to administrative and academic processes.
Employees can access internal documents, codes of conduct, and procedures via this section.
SDU operates an IT Helpdesk support system:

You can submit requests regarding:
- Wi-Fi connectivity issues;
- computers, printers, telephones, and antivirus software;
- cartridge refilling and other technical problems.
IT specialists will review your request and assist in resolving the issue.
If design materials are required for university-related events, requests must be submitted through the BPM system:
- Log in to BPM;
- Select “Marketing Department”;
- Click “Request Marketing Services”;
- Choose “Design Request”;
- Fill in the required information and submit the request.
The use of halls for events, meetings, or recordings is only available through BPM:
- log in to BPM;
- open the “Start Process” section;
- select “Hall Request”;
- specify the required hall and time.
The SDU ID Card is the main access card for university employees. It allows you to:
- register entry to and exit from the campus;
- borrow books from the library;
- receive employee discounts at the cafeteria.
In case of loss:
- pay 2,000 KZT to the SDU account via Kaspi.kz or Halyk Homebank;
- bring the payment receipt;
- visit the HR Department (B203) to reissue your ID Card.
To receive a 50% lunch discount:
- go to the AC Catering office (E219);
- staff will register your card in the cafeteria system;
- after registration, the discount will be applied automatically.
In the BPM system, select:
“Request for Facility Services” → “Kofte Zone”.
If the requested time slot is available, the zone will be allocated for use.

At SDU, salaries are officially calculated and transferred to employees’ bank accounts by the 10th of each month.
If the date falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment is made on the previous working day.
- Annual paid leave — provided according to work experience and schedule.
- Short-term social leave — granted in cases such as illness of a close relative, childbirth, marriage, or death of a close family member.
- Creative leave — provided for academic or professional projects (duration to be clarified with the HR Department).
Leave requests are submitted through the BPM system in the “HR Department” section.
The referral program allows employees to recommend qualified and trusted candidates.
To submit a referral:
- log in to BPM and open the “Referral Program” request;
- attach the candidate’s CV;
- candidate review is conducted by the HR Department.
Important:
If the candidate successfully completes the probation period, the referring employee receives a monetary reward.

Starting from the 16th of each month, you can submit an “Advance Payment Request” via the BPM system under the “Finance / Accounting” section.
Once approved, the funds will be transferred to your account shortly.
