SDU University Offers 4-Year Grants and Tuition Discounts to 306 Top Applicants
SDU University announces the nationwide SDU Proficiency Test (SPT) Olympiad for applicants, which will be held on March 1, 2026.
The SDU Proficiency Test (SPT) is a nationwide academic competition designed for school and college graduates. For 12 consecutive years, SDU University has been organizing this educational contest, supporting talented, ambitious, and knowledge-driven youth from all regions of the country. Over the years, thousands of applicants have proven their academic abilities and received grants and tuition fee discounts.
The main goal of the Olympiad is to help applicants make an informed choice of their future profession, as well as to increase access to quality higher education by offering various levels of grants and tuition discounts.
The Olympiad is conducted in accordance with Order No. 514 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2018, and is included in the official list of national and international Olympiads in general education subjects and scientific projects as the SDU Proficiency Test (SPT).
Olympiad Stages
The SPT Olympiad consists of two stages:
Stage I
Participants take an online test via a dedicated platform. The test includes 50 questions designed to assess logical reasoning skills.
Stage II
The list of applicants who advance to the second stage will be published on the official SDU University website — sdu.edu.kz. Participants will take offline tests in selected subjects at designated testing centers located in 17 major cities across the country.
The test is based on the Grade 11 curriculum and is conducted in Kazakh or Russian. Each participant answers 100 questions in three subjects.
Awards
As a result of the Olympiad, 306 top participants will be awarded grants valid for 4 years of study at SDU University, as well as certificates providing tuition fee discounts.
Participation in the Olympiad is free of charge.
