This year, SDU University is serving as the Chair of the Academic Integrity League, an association that unites higher education institutions across Kazakhstan. This is a great honor and responsibility for our university.

Mission and Objectives
The Academic Integrity League is an association of higher and postgraduate educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its main goal is to promote the principles of honesty, trust, responsibility, and transparency in education and science, as well as to introduce high standards of academic behavior among students and faculty.

SDU University joined the League in 2018. As Chair, the university has the opportunity to:

• Promote and advance academic integrity principles nationwide
• Exchange experience and implement best practices among universities
• Influence strategic decisions of the League by representing the university’s position
• Strengthen the culture of integrity among students and faculty

New Initiatives and Plans
During its chairmanship, SDU University will focus on the following areas:

1. Integrity Week and Training — organizing special events for students and faculty.
2. Quality Control of Scientific Publications — strengthening mechanisms to assess the authenticity and reliability of journals and research outputs.
3. Ensuring Transparency in the Learning Process — providing accessible information on assessment criteria, examination systems, and student rights and responsibilities.
4. Collaborative Projects and Forums — organizing events to promote academic integrity in partnership with other universities.
