As part of the national “Таза Қазақстан” campaign, SDU University hosted an environmental event called Тазалық Fest. The event became a symbol of unity and shared purpose, clearly reflecting the university community’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Around 300 staff members and students took part in the campaign. Participants personally helped clean the campus area, planted trees, and contributed to landscaping activities. This initiative aimed to promote the importance of protecting nature and to enhance environmental awareness among young people.

Тазалық Fest is not just a cleanup day — it is a celebration of shared responsibility and green culture. Such events strengthen team spirit and contribute to raising environmental consciousness within society,” the organizers noted.

At the end of the event, participants were treated to traditional plov (pilaf), continuing the festive atmosphere around a friendly table. This moment strengthened community bonds and highlighted the true spirit of Тазалық Fest.
