THE WEEK OF INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
On April 9–10, 2025, SDU University hosted the large-scale event “Week of International Opportunities”, organized by the Department of International Relations. The aim was to inform students and staff about international education programs and to strengthen global academic cooperation.
🔹 Day One: Exhibition, Consultations, and Panel Sessions
The campus welcomed university representatives from China, Hungary, Germany, Poland, France, and Malaysia. Students and high schoolers received first-hand consultations on admissions, grants, internships, summer schools, and exchange programs.
Panel sessions allowed institutional representatives to discuss partnership models and joint research projects.
🔹 Day Two: Strategic Meetings and Info Sessions
The second day focused on strategic meetings:
SDU leadership met with delegates from Shanghai University of Electric Power to discuss long-term collaboration and joint programs.
SDU Business School held a meeting with Beijing Normal University Business School.
International partners held info sessions in the Blue Hall for students, presenting study tracks, scholarship options, and research opportunities.
🔹 Workshops for Faculty and Administrative Staff
Simultaneously, workshops for SDU staff focused on:
participation in international conferences and forums
academic mobility and internships
international research collaboration
co-supervision of PhD dissertations
