SDU Student Wins Second Place at Public Speaking Contest
Dilnura Yeszhanova, a 3rd-year student from the Faculty of Education and Humanities, Department of Language Education, enrolled in the educational program “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages”, won 2nd place at the public speaking contest held on April 11, 2025, in Almaty. The event was organized by the Kazakh-German University (DKU).
The main goal of the contest was to identify the best public speakers among university students. Participants delivered persuasive speeches of 3–5 minutes on a topic of their choice.
Representing SDU, Dilnura showcased her exceptional speaking skills, along with critical thinking, creativity, and confidence. Her preparation was guided by lecturer Khamshat Zholdasbek.
