Winter Seminar for Advisors
Recently, our university held a winter seminar for advisors titled “Mentorship Matter – A Pathway to Excellence”. The goal of the event was to enhance the skills of advisors, provide new perspectives, and offer opportunities for experience exchange. During the seminar, several unique sessions were organized, which brought significant benefits to the participants.
Features of the seminar:
Advisor Talks: Experienced professionals and experts shared their knowledge and delivered inspiring presentations in the TED format. These sessions offered participants new ideas and perspectives.
Practical Workshops: Interactive sessions were held to discuss real-life situations in the work of advisors. Participants shared their experiences and explored ways to solve various challenges.
Networking Opportunities: The seminar provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss new ideas with colleagues. Everyone had the chance to express their views and gain new insights from other participants.
Awards for Active Participants: Special prizes were awarded to the most active participants in the seminar. This served as an additional motivator, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the event.
Team-building Game “Brain Rain”: On Friday afternoon, an engaging team-building game took place, which brought participants together and allowed for free exchange of opinions.
This seminar opened new horizons for advisors to improve their skills and enhance their support for students and colleagues. By listening to different opinions and approaches, the participants realized the importance of mentorship and gained new ideas and methods to apply in their work.
