Multimedia Lab and Technopark showcase results of Multimedia Capstone Projects
Engineering faculty, Multimedia Lab and Technopark is proud to present an exhibition showcasing the remarkable projects created by students in Design for Manufacture, Computer Graphics Programming, and Advanced VFX and post-production courses as the final exam for these courses. The exhibition is a testament to the power of imagination and collaboration when combined with hard skills.
In Design for Manufacture course, the students have utilized advanced manufacturing technologies such as laser cutters, CNC machines, 3D printing, and 3D modeling in Autodesk Fusion 360, to create impressive projects that demonstrate their skills in the studied program and industrial production tools. During the course students created 7 hardware projects.
The Computer Graphics Programming course focuses on parametric modeling skills using Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper plugin. The projects displayed in this course demonstrate the impressive results of the first-year students of the newly started Multimedia Sciences BA program.
The advanced VFX and post-production course is centered around 3D animation skills that can be blended into reality. Visitors of the exhibition had a chance to participate in the open defense of final projects .
Moreover, during the exhibition a 4th year student Nurshat Abdigani, presented VR model of the university and his 3D artistry works.
The exhibition serves as an inspiration for anyone interested in utilizing the facilities of the multimedia lab and technopark. It showcases the future of design and technology and how they can be used to create remarkable projects.
In addition to that, we had external visitors from Freedom Finace company, KazGASA, AlmaU, and Zhurgenev universities to have an open conversation in the design field and perhaps create collaborative projects in future.
The Multimedia Lab and Technopark invites everyone to visit the facility located in the basement of F block to create more interesting projects.
