On April 5th, at the invitation of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Humanities, Shyngys Mukhan, a graduate of Harvard University and the founder of the “Mazmundama” project, visited our University. During the meeting, the importance of the “Translation Studies” profession and the value of the Kazakh language were discussed. Therefore, Mr. Shyngys mentioned the role of language professions in modern society and their high demand.
It should be noted that the “Mazmundama” project translates world bestsellers into Kazakh. Today, they have more than 300,000 readers.
On behalf of the University, we express our gratitude to Mr. Shyngys for increasing students’ interest in their profession and for conducting a knowledge-filled meeting!
