Suleyman Demirel University has been included in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023. The rankings were released on March 22nd.
Along with SDU, the following universities from Kazakhstan are also on the list: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Satbayev University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, and Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M.Tynyshpayev.
“The number of Kazakhstani universities in the subject rankings of the world’s top universities has increased to eight, which is four times more than three years ago. The results of the new subject rankings demonstrate the strengthening of Kazakhstan’s scientific potential in the global scientific community, which is an important achievement for the development of Higher Education in the country,” said Sergey Khristolyubov, the Regional Director of QS.
It should be noted that the QS World University Rankings by Subject is based on an independent comparative analysis of over 15,700 educational programs in 54 academic disciplines and five broad subject areas offered by 1594 universities in 93 countries. The ranking is the part of the QS World University Rankings series, which is one of the most widely recognized university rankings in the world.
