On 30-31 May, International Round Table “Indo-Central Asia Dialogue” was organised at Suleyman Demirel University.
The Сonference held discussions to improve relations between India and Сentral Asian countries under four main themes: Innovative ways of strengthening civil society relationship; Inter -regional Cooperation and boosting economic engagements; Strengthening Regional Security and Cooperation in the field of de-radicalisation and Counter terrorism; Exploring areas of Technological and Scientific Cooperation. Speakers included Aizada Nuriddenova, Anwar Alam, Assylzat Karabayeva, Beruniy Alimov, Dariga Kokeyeva, Shukurova Gulmira, Kenzhebek Gabdullin, Kashif Hasan Khan, Muzaffar Olimove, Nigorai Fazliddin, Oskar Schortz, Rustam Umarov and Ulugbeck Khasanov.
The International Round Table Discussion has been conceived to analyse and identify obstacles and challenges that come in the way of strengthening relationship between India and Central Asian Republics. The main aim of the roundtable is developing specific strategies and policy measures to support the initiative.
